Task: Perform a Eyelash Lamination and Tint Treatment on Both Eyes By Using Any Professional Lamination and Tint Brand Products On a Live Model

Judging Criteria:

  • The overall look
  • Bend (optimal size)
  • Smoothness of bend (entire length of natural eyelashes, there must be a smooth bend without creases and deformation)
  • Eyelash position on a rod (each lash should look straight and be separated. Lashes shouldn’t be criss cross or glued together)
  • Percentage of curled lashes
  • Root zone lifting angle (after the procedure, eyelashes should be well lifted in the root zone)
  • Inner corner (right eye)
  • Inner corner (left eye)
  • Outer corner (right eye)
  • Outer corner (left eye)
  • The tint color selection
  • Cleanness of tinting
  • Lash direction after treatment

Rules

Important Regulations

  • Photos must be high quality and clear
  • No editing/photoshop is allowed
  • Judges will be able to see any amendments made to images and entry will be instantly disqualified
  • No logos/watermarks are allowed
  • No photos should be posted on social media before results
  • Maximum of 7 photos – 2 before / 4 after
    (please refer to photo submission guide)
    Please include a description ie: thickness, curl, length of lashes used

Photography Specifications

  • x1 Picture seated model while sitting, to see whole models face with open eyes before applied eyelash extensions, for the face evaluation
  • x1 Picture models eyes closed with applied eye patches (white color)from behind of the model head, to see a condition of natural lashes
  • x1 After picture both eyes closed from behind of the model head
  • x1 After picture, whole face, both eyes looking straight to see the symmetry of eyelashes
  • x1 After picture right eye (model looking up)
  • x1 After picture left eye (model looking up)
  • x3 Additional pictures of choice to show off your amazing work at it’s best

Criteria

  • Directions: Lashes should not crisscross each other, they should lean in the correct direction and sit exactly on the natural lash.
  • Coverage: We are looking for complete full sets, 100% of lashes should be covered (including inner and outer corners) this will show up in your photos, if we can see missing lashes you will lose points.
  • General Impression: Style, length, and curl should complement the model’s face shape and bone structure, and lashes on both eyes should look even.
  • Adhesion: No lashes should be or look stuck together.
  • Clean Work: No glue excess should appear on the lashes.
  • Length: The extension length should be suitable for the model’s natural lashes.
  • Thickness/Weight: Lash extensions thickness/ volume of lashes in a fan should be suitable for the model’s natural lashes. For Classic Look, you can use eyelashes of a maximum 0.15mm thickness.
  • Distance from the Eyelid: From the eyelid­ should be the same for all extensions through the lash line.
  • Junior Level – 0.1 mm
  • Masters/Experts/Professionals – 0.02mm (min), 0.05mm (max)
  • Smooth transition: An invisible transition is required through the lash line with no “steps”. Effect (chosen design is suitable for the model’s eye shape, face, and hair color)
